Mayor’s Youth Speaker Series Inspiring youth was Professor Gunning’s goal as the featured speaker at Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie’s Youth Speaker Series on November 22. A regular discussion series with prominent Canadians from a variety of sectors, the Mayor’s Youth Speaker Series aims to motivate youth between 14 and 25 years of age and help them navigate the transition to the workforce. Before a sold-out crowd of more than 200, Professor Gunning shared his journey as a chemist exploring lifesaving research at UTM.
