Andrew Sedmirhadsky, a staff member at UTM, has a son Max, who is affected by Duchenne. Andrew has been running a fundraising campaign “Max’s big ride” to raise money for this cause and cover the cost of medication for Max. Andrew is establishing a fund to sponsor a PhD fellowship for a UTM student conducting research in this area.
