DR. VITTORIA ZOPPI

Vittoria received the degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology in July 2015 and the European PhD in Sciences and Technologies of Chemistry and Materials, curriculum in Medicinal, Food and Cosmetic Sciences in March 2019 at the University of Genoa, Italy under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Spallarossa and Prof. Alessio Ciulli. She carried out her PhD research in Ciulli Lab at the University of Dundee (UK) working on the design, synthesis and biological evaluation of PROTACs (Proteolysis Targeting Chimeras) targeting BRD7/9 epigenetic proteins. As part of her PhD, she also joined Nerviano Medical Sciences (Milan, Italy) for 1-year stage developing PROTACs targeting protein kinases. 

Vittoria currently is postdoctoral fellow in Gunning Lab working on the development and characterization of compounds of potential pharmaceutical interest.
